Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete the data SimplePath holds about an account you connected to it, such as a Facebook Page, an Instagram account, a LinkedIn profile or an X account, and how to delete your whole SimplePath account. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What we hold from a connected account

  • The access token that service issued to SimplePath, stored encrypted.
  • Your name and profile picture on that service, and the list of pages or accounts you chose to connect.
  • The posts SimplePath published there for you, with the date and outcome of each.

We do not receive your password for that service, and we never read your private messages or your contacts.

2. Delete the data for one connected account

  1. Sign in to simplepath.ai and open the site the account is connected to.
  2. Open the Social workspace from the site's menu.
  3. Under connected accounts, choose Disconnect next to the account.

Disconnecting deletes the stored access token right away and asks the service to revoke it, so SimplePath can no longer act on that account. Scheduled posts to it are put on hold and are not published. The record of posts already published stays in your workspace history until you delete the site or your account; the posts themselves remain on the service, where you control them. You can also remove SimplePath from the service's own side at any time: on Facebook and Instagram under Settings → Business integrations, on LinkedIn under Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services, and on X under Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions.

3. Delete your whole SimplePath account

Deleting your account removes every connected account as above, together with your sites, site content, uploads and profile, after the 30-day restore window described in the Privacy Policy. Billing records are kept only as long as accounting and tax rules require. To request it, use the Help & Feedback widget inside the app, or our contact form if you can no longer sign in. We confirm the deletion by email within 30 days.
