Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
This policy explains what information SimplePath collects when you use simplepath.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have. SimplePath is operated by SimplePath LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("SimplePath", "we"), which is the party responsible for the information described here. Short version: we collect what we need to build, host, and bill for your websites, and we don't sell your data.
1. Information we collect
Account information
Your name, email address, and profile picture, from Google when you sign in with Google, or the email and password you register with (passwords are stored only as secure hashes).
Site content
Everything you put into the builder: descriptions and chat messages, uploaded images and files, and the website content generated for you. Remember that a published site, including its uploaded files, is public by design.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive and store your prepaid credit balance, a history of your charges, and references to your Stripe customer record, but we never see or store your full card number. When you save a card, it's saved with Stripe.
Usage and technical data
Standard logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested), session cookies to keep you signed in, AI usage metrics (how much computing your builds consume, for billing), and aggregate analytics about how simplepath.ai is used.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service: build, host, publish, and manage your websites.
- To process the instructions and content you give the AI builder: your prompts and site content are processed by our AI to generate your site. They are used to serve you, not to advertise to you.
- To bill you: apply credits, charge your card, send receipts, and prevent fraud.
- To communicate: service messages (receipts, expiry reminders, security notices) in the app and by email. These are part of running your account, so they aren't optional.
- To tell you what's new: product news, tips, and offers. These always appear in your in-app inbox; you can turn off the email copy any time (see “Your choices and rights”).
- To secure and improve the Service: debugging, abuse prevention, aggregate usage analysis.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that make SimplePath work:
- Infrastructure providers: the hosting, storage, database, and authentication services that run SimplePath.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Domain registrar: registers custom domains you purchase (registration may require contact details as mandated by domain-registry rules).
- Analytics: a web-analytics service that compiles aggregate usage statistics for simplepath.ai, and per-site visitor analytics where a site owner has enabled that feature.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the Service and its users. A current list of our service providers is available on request through our contact form.
4. Visitors to sites built with SimplePath
If you visit a website that someone built with SimplePath, that site's owner is responsible for its content and for how it treats your data. Where a site uses our managed member-accounts feature, sign-in credentials and saved data are stored in an isolated space for that site on our infrastructure, and we process them only to operate that site on the owner's behalf. Questions about a specific site belong to its owner. To report a harmful site, see our Copyright & Content Reports page.
5. Data retention
- Your account and site data are kept while your account is active.
- Deleted sites are archived for about 30 days (restorable), then permanently deleted.
- Billing records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data (see Contact below).
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS everywhere), hashed passwords, isolated per-site data, scoped credentials for our infrastructure, and payment handling delegated to Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to fix issues quickly when they're found.
7. Cookies
We use cookies for signing you in (session cookies) and analytics. Blocking cookies in your browser may prevent sign-in from working.
8. Children
SimplePath isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Your choices and rights
- You can view and update your account information in the app.
- You can stop marketing email at any time: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing message, or the toggle under Account → Account information → Email preferences. We'll keep sending account, billing, and security email, and product news keeps arriving in your in-app inbox under Account → Messages.
- You can delete individual sites, or request deletion of your whole account.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, correction, portability, deletion). Contact us and we'll honor the rights that apply to you.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy as the Service evolves and note the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
11. Contact
The fastest way to reach us is the Help & Feedback widget inside the app. If you don't have an account (for example, you visited a site built with SimplePath), use our contact form. Also see our Terms of Service and FAQ.
