How it works

You describe the site you want, the same way you would brief a designer: what it is for, who it is for, and the feel you are going for. SimplePath asks a few follow-up questions, then designs the pages, writes the copy, and builds the whole thing.

There are no templates to pick from and no blocks to drag around. Every site is generated for your specific request, so two people describing different businesses get two genuinely different sites.

Every site is designed from scratch

Most website tools hand you a template that thousands of other businesses are already using, and the work becomes filling in a layout that belongs to somebody else. SimplePath starts from a blank page instead. Each build is given its own design direction, so the layout, the type, the color, and the way the page moves are chosen for your business rather than inherited from a theme.

That is why two SimplePath sites rarely look related. A wedding photographer and a plumbing company describing their businesses on the same afternoon get two sites that have nothing visually in common, because nothing was shared between them to begin with.

Not just brochure sites

SimplePath builds more than simple landing pages. People have used it to create interactive web apps, dashboards, booking tools, calculators, and even games. If you can describe how it should behave, it can be built.

On the Grow plan a site can go further still, with member sign-in, a real database behind it, and payments taken on the page. The same plain-English conversation covers all of it, so you never have to work out which feature you are supposed to be asking for.

It checks its own work

Writing a site is only half the job. Once the pages exist, SimplePath goes back over them looking for the things that quietly break a site: a link pointing at a page that was never created, an image that will not load, a form wired to nothing, a script with a mistake in it.

Anything it can fix, it fixes before you ever see the site. A few checks run again at the moment you publish, and a site with a broken script is refused rather than pushed live, because a page that looks finished and does not work is worse than one that never went up.

Nothing goes live until you say so

Your site is private while you build it. You get a preview address you can open on your phone or send to somebody whose opinion you want, and the public version stays exactly as it was until you press publish.

Every save and every publish keeps a restore point, so you can look at what changed and go back to an earlier version if a change was not an improvement. Trying something drastic costs you nothing.

After your site is live, you keep improving it the same way you built it: by describing the change. A new section, different wording, a fresh color scheme, a page you forgot you needed. You say what you want and the site updates.

This is the part that tends to surprise people. Small changes stop being jobs you save up for somebody else to do, so the site keeps up with the business instead of slowly going out of date. No designer on retainer, no support ticket, no waiting until Thursday.
