Your Stripe, your money

Connect your own Stripe account and payments made on your site go straight to you. The money lands in your account, not ours, and it never passes through SimplePath on the way.

That also means the parts of selling that matter later stay yours. Refunds, receipts, payouts, disputes, and every record of every sale live in your own Stripe dashboard, under your business name. If you ever stopped using SimplePath, your payment history would not be something you had to ask us for.

We do not take a cut

SimplePath charges nothing on your sales. There is no percentage, no per-transaction fee, and no minimum. You pay for your hosting plan and that is the end of it.

Stripe charges its own standard processing fee on each payment, the same as it would if you had built the site yourself. We do not add anything on top of it.

Connecting takes about a minute

You press connect, sign in to Stripe, and approve the connection. If you do not have a Stripe account yet you can create one on the way through.

You never paste a secret key into SimplePath, and we never ask for one. The connection gives us permission to create a checkout for your site and nothing more, and you can disconnect it from either side whenever you want.

Nobody can change your prices

This is the part worth understanding, because it is where cheap payment buttons go wrong. On some setups the price is written into the page the visitor is looking at, which means a determined visitor can edit it before it reaches the checkout and pay whatever they like.

SimplePath does not work that way. Your buy button sends the name of the item, and the price is looked up on our server from your own site, at the moment of checkout. What the browser claims something costs is ignored. You do not have to know any of that for it to protect you, which is the point.

Sell what you actually sell

Products, services, deposits on a booking, tickets to an event, a fee for a consultation. Ask for it in the builder the same way you ask for anything else, and the page, the button, and the checkout are built together.
